Founded in July 1976 in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Samson Equipment Inc. was established by Dave and Linda Schroeder with a clear mission: to build the most durable, heavy-duty commercial weight room equipment engineered specifically for high-volume institutional use.
As a former collegiate athlete at New Mexico State University and veteran multi-sport coach, Dave Schroeder recognized a severe shortage of strength equipment that could withstand daily rigorous team training. Together with Linda Schroeder, a dedicated educator and multi-sport head coach, they created Samson Equipment to set a new standard in strength facility manufacturing.
Today, Samson Equipment operates as a multi-million-dollar international manufacturer trusted by NCAA Division I universities, NFL programs, high school athletic departments, tactical military units, and commercial training facilities across North America and worldwide.
